Is a 30something mile bike ride on a clear skyed Tuesday afternoon, a nap in the grass, kareoke on Eagle Bluffs where no one was within a 5 mile radius, the resulting sports bra sunburn and most importantly
peace of mind
worth failing my intro to Journalism class
A mere two hours after interviewing the professor on the phone about a free speech case?
...
You know.
Those hours in the sun were worthwhile. And, I'm fairly certain I'd do it again.
Something is rotten in the state of Missouri if I needed it that badly.
I need religion, baby. I need salvation and peace of mind and sunshine.
A, A, A, A, A, A, A, A, A, A, F.
"I've never gotten bad grades. And I guess I'll get an E or an F or whatever in this class."
Roomate: "Did you seriously say that? You can't get an E in a class. It goes A, B, C, D, F. No E."
"In my defense, I've had like zero sleep. (This is true. I had a much needed night out on with knees that didn't work, and had an honest to god pillow fight - another stress reliever). Oh God."
Yeah, but I didn't know. I never knew. So, apparently, no E.
...
F.
------------
Do note, I haven't spoken with my professor or my adviser. Things may change.
And is it awful that I've been thinking that... hey, if I fail, I'll have prime time for biking the next five weeks?
The parentals know. And, think everything's fine and koochy.
